EuropeIMF Member Since 1947
Italy
Italy is one of the G7 economies and has been an IMF member since 1947. Italy's quota share has remained relatively stable around 3-4%. As a eurozone member, Italy contributes to the euro's weight in the SDR basket. Italy's strong export economy and central bank (Banca d'Italia) maintain robust reserve management, keeping SDR holdings close to allocation levels.
